Based in both Paris and Amsterdam, Yvette van Boven works as an illustrator, food stylist and recipe writer. She works for many magazines, newspapers, websites, advertising companies, or (mostly food-) brands.

Her first cookbook: HOME MADE was awarded as “Dutch Cookbook of the Year 2010″ , “Best Informative Dutch Book 2011′ and nominated as ‘Best First Cookbook’ at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards 2011. Her second book: Home Made WINTER has just been released.

Together with close family Joris Vermeer & Alexander Vencken, she runs a restaurant & cateringservice in Amsterdam, called Aan de Amstel.
